2005 Sherwood Forest Garden Tour

Celebrating the Beauty and Diversity of Sherwood Forest

Registration Director Bill Osborn, Judges Sharon Hughes and Carol Maynard, 2005 Tour Chair Paulette Feit, and Judge Jack Sprano

The 2005 Sherwood Forest Garden Tour was held June 25th. Spectators enjoyed the warm early-summer day to view a diverse range of gardens reflecting the natural beauty and design efforts of gardeners in the Becket community whose lakes and waterways form a headwater to the Westfield River watershed. Master Gardeners from the Berkshire Botanical Garden in Stockbridge were on hand to not only judge the entries but to provide consultation and suggestions to both those new to gardening and established experts. Admission was by donation which went to support the work of the BBG which is nationally known for its horticultural and educational activities.
